2936 SE Taylor Street - Originally believed to have been a Faber design due to the stone porch, we now know that this house was designed by Phillipe Carlander and built by his construction partner A. Rice and Son Builders.  This house was built for Harvey Scott, Jr., son of one of the founders of The Oregonian, and an important Portland citizen in his own right.
