Joseph Jacobberger House #1
In November, 1909, prominent Portland architect Joseph Jacobberger built a house for his family high on the hillside south of Downtown. It was both an advertisement for his talents as a creative residential architect and a quiet retreat for his family above the dirt, smells, and commotion of the busy city below. These photos were shot in February, 2016, to celebrate the beauties of this home as the long-time owners were preparing to put it on the market. With thanks to the owners for the opportunity to create these images.
